PROJECT 01

Optimized Integration of Quantum Emitters in Silicon Platforms

Numerical investigation of coupling between quantum emitters and integrated optical waveguides in silicon-based photonic platforms.

Conceptual visualization of a quantum emitter coupled to an integrated optical waveguideProject architecture reference supplied by the researcher. It illustrates the broader device concept; it is not presented as an output of my COMSOL simulations.

Research context

This project explored the coupling of quantum emitters to integrated optical waveguides. The illustration represents an emitter near a waveguide and the guided optical mode; it is a conceptual visualization, not a COMSOL result.

My contribution

I used COMSOL Multiphysics to simulate coupling between quantum emitters and optical waveguides. The specific parameter studies, model geometry, and quantitative results will be documented when available.

Simulation evidence

Space reserved for my own COMSOL field distributions, geometry views, and simulation results. These will be added separately from the device concept illustration.

PROJECT 02

Optical Resonances in Silicon Nanostructures

Numerical investigation of wavelength-dependent optical responses and field modes in silicon hole structures.

Stylized illustration of nanostructure geometry, optical field modes and spectral responseConceptual illustration inspired by my COMSOL simulations; not a numerical output or measured spectrum.

My contribution

I used COMSOL to investigate nanostructures with different dimensions and wavelengths, and examined the corresponding optical modes and reflection response.
